Where to stay in Rome:
Rome gets a lot of tourists throughout the year. For those who are on a budget, staying in the downtown area, such as the squares of Rome (Piazzas Navona, Espagna, and Campo de Fiori), is a good option. The area near the Monument to Victor Emmanuel II and the Pantheon has several hotels; it also has many restaurants, bars, banks and it’s an easy way to public transportation. Another well located place to stay is next to the Termini Train Station, although this area is considered not as safe as other areas of the city. Rome has options to suit every budget, the Trastevere district, for example, has lively nightlife and it’s full of options for an evening stroll.
